The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks is Fukuoka’s professional baseball
team that plays in the Japanese Professional League. They play their home games at the Yahoo! Fukuoka Dome in Momochihama. The team name was formerly the Daiei Hawks named after the Daiei supermarket chain. It was purchased by Softbank in 2005 due to Daiei’s financial problems. Their uniform colors are black white and yellow.
